Oh man I honestly don't know where to start this off about what happened this week, because nothing really happened. Other than it's been raining here all week, and I've basically gotten soaked everyday. It's weird how the rain works here too. It comes in bursts, and big ones at that, or it's a constant steady drizzle. Regardless of all the water, it's been a good week and we have obtained a couple of new "friends" for us to teach.
Apparently they have like, alot of different flavours of milk in England. They have toffee, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, white chocolate, banana and coffee. I'm curious to find out what each one tastes like (except coffee of course).
I've lost 3 kilos since I've come to England. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing but, oh well. Hopefully I maintain a good and healthy weight.
We experienced a miracle this Sunday. One of the people we were teaching, we couldn't get in contact with him all week. Then on Sunday, he just randomly walked into Sunday school. The lesson this week was good for him too. It was about how we can and should be aligning our will with God's will.
So we ended up having a trio (3 missionaries grouped together) for the day and a DA (dinner appointment). We tried to get ahold of the family we were invited to, to tell them there would be an extra missionary but they never picked up. So we ended up showing up without them knowing. After that we went tracting for a bit and then made our way home and bought 20£ worth of fried chicken and 3L of Dr. Pepper. That same day, Sister Taylor (the one who does flat inspections) also gave us a ton of chocolate because apparently, our flat was the cleanest! She was also leaving, so she gave us even more chocolate! Needless to say, it was a very unhealthy night.
It's already been a month and a half since I've been out and it feels like I left only yesterday. Time is flying by but I still have a lot to look forward too. I'm so grateful for the time I've had so far to learn and grow and I hope that I can continue to grow and learn a lot more.
I guess this week I would like to share with you what King Benjamin said at the end Mosiah chapter 2, in the Book of Mormon.
"41 And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it."
I promise you that as you strive to keep the commandments God has given us, you will find joy and happiness. You will also be blessed for your faith in keeping them, both temporally and spiritually. I know that keeping the commandments can bring you these blessing because I have seen it in my life and the lives of those that I teach. If you feel you've messed up and can't get back, consider the words of President Russell M. Nelson from this past General Conference.
"Whether you are diligently moving along the covenant path, have slipped or stepped from the covenant path, or can’t even see the path from where you are now, I plead with you to repent. Experience the strengthening power of daily repentance—of doing and being a little better each day."
When we choose to repent, we choose to change! We allow the Savior to transform us into the best version of ourselves. We choose to grow spiritually and to receive joy—the joy of redemption through Him. When we choose to repent, we choose to become more like Jesus Christ!
It is by becoming like Jesus Christ that we can experience that fullness of joy.
Have a good week! I will be praying for you all!
Cheers, love you all!

Beautiful flowers. They know how to garden here.
